External forces such as the wind cause the actual sea surface to deviate from the geoid. The geoid represents the shape of a hypothetical ocean surface at rest in response to variations in Earth's gravity field. In order to study ocean circulation more effectively it is necessary to have an accurate map of Earth’s geoid. However, knowledge of the role that the oceans play in the Earth system is currently insufficient for the accurate prediction of climate change. Thanks to this current, the coastal waters of Europe are 4☌ warmer than waters at equivalent latitudes in the north Pacific. The Gulf Stream, which carries warm surface waters northwards from the Gulf of Mexico, is a good example of the important role ocean currents play in moderating the climate. Ocean circulation plays a crucial role in climate regulation by transporting heat from low to high latitudes in surface waters, while currents cooled at high latitudes flow in deeper waters back towards the Equator. In particular, an accurate model of the geoid advances our understanding global ocean circulation patterns. Ocean Circulation A better understanding of Earth's gravity field and its associated geoid significantly advances our knowledge about how the Earth system works. This also contributes to observing and understanding sea-level change as a result of melting continental ice-sheets associated with a changing climate and postglacial rebound. GOCE data will also facilitate one global system for tide-gauge records, so that sea levels can be compared all over the world. GOCE helped to make significant advances in geodesy and surveying. This resulted in a unique model of the 'geoid', which is the surface of equal gravitational potential defined by the gravity field – crucial for deriving accurate measurements of ocean circulation and sea-level change, both of which are affected by climate change. In theory, Cryo Blast -> Overload -> Warp -> Throw can result in three successive combos, though enemies can't seem to survive long enough to verify.ĭear Bioware, can we please get one more LE patch? There are some pretty annoying bugs still in the games, and the ME2 Stasis one probably annoys me the most.Mission Objectives The GOCE mission objectives were to measure Earth's gravity field and model the geoid with unprecedented accuracy and spatial resolution. The Sentinel is a combo god in ME3, being able to prime cryo, tech, or biotic combos, and being able to detonate all combo types. Both of the armor powers give a power damage boost that makes up for the cooldown penalty, and if you keep your weapon weight low you get the 200% cooldown bonus you can still spam powers pretty well. Go with 70%, as has the lowest cooldown penalty. Grab Fortification, it and Tech Armor can combine for 70%, 80%, or 90% damage protection. In ME3 the Sentinel is absolutely fantastic. I've also used Energy Drain instead of Overload, which worked well to keep the shield boost up, and that worked pretty well. Warp Ammo is probably the second best choice, but nearly all of them are viable. I like Stasis for a bonus power, but i'ts still unavailable in LE. In ME2 the Sentinel gets the best defensive abilities in the game, making it arguably the easiest class to do an insanity run with (though Infiltrator is also excellent). Enhanced barrier and maxing the Electronics skill will give you incredible shields, but Sentinel doesn't have an armor ability, so it has the lowest damage protection (watch out for enemy attack that bypass shields like melee or poison attacks). Definitely get the Bastion specialization, it turns Stasis into one of the best powers in the game. I prefer Damping as a bonus power as it's a great debuff and makes Sabotage and Overload more powerful. In ME1 the Sentinel has a good mix of crowd control and debuffs.

Engineer might be the weakest class in ME1, it's underrated in ME2, and is also pretty good in ME3.

Adept might be a bit better in ME1, pretty good on normal difficulty in ME2, and pretty good in ME3. Sentinel is the best castor class across the three games.
